MSG's Cards and Consignment FAQ

Getting Started

You send or deliver your eligible cards to us. We handle the listing, pricing, buyer communication, packing, shipping, and sale process. You receive your payout based on the applicable consignment rate.
We currently accept Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Lorcana, One Piece, and graded sports cards. Raw and graded cards are accepted for supported TCG categories.
Standard consignment cards must have a minimum market value of $5. Graded cards must have a minimum market value of $20.
Yes. Cards valued from $3 to $4.99 may be accepted when submitted in quantities of 100 or more.
Cards may be shipped to us or arranged for local drop-off or pickup when available. Please package cards securely to prevent movement or damage during transit.
Yes. Local drop-off may be arranged in advance. Contact us first so we can coordinate a time.

Selling Your Cards

We use Buy It Now listings, not auctions. This gives us more control over pricing and allows us to manage cards based on current market conditions.
Consigned cards are sold through our eBay store and ManaPool, with TCGplayer coming soon. We may use the platform we believe gives your cards the best opportunity to sell.
Cards are priced competitively using current market data and recent sales information. Pricing may be adjusted over time based on market conditions.
Not always. If you send higher-end cards or multiple copies of the same card, we may stagger listings to help manage pricing and avoid flooding the market. For lower-value cards, we may list multiple cards or the entire submission at the same time.
Consignors can use their account to monitor listed cards, completed sales, earnings, and payout activity.
Unsold cards may remain listed and may be repriced based on current market conditions. If you would like your unsold cards returned, our return policy applies.
Yes. Consigned cards may be requested back after they have been listed for a minimum of 90 days. A $1.00 per-card return fee applies, and the consignor is responsible for return shipping. Cards that have already sold or are part of a pending transaction cannot be returned.

Fees & Payouts

Your payout percentage depends on the final sale price of the card. Higher-value cards receive a higher percentage of net proceeds. See our Consignment Payout Rates for the current schedule.
Payout percentages are calculated from net proceeds after applicable marketplace selling fees and transaction-related charges.
Yes. A $0.49 processing fee applies to cards sold for $5–$24.99. A $0.99 processing fee applies to cards sold for $25 or more.
Payouts are sent 24 hours after the sale.

Returns & Protection

Buyer returns are handled through the selling platform and our customer-service process. Any required adjustments are handled according to the consignment terms.
A transaction is not considered a completed sale until buyer payment is successfully received. Unpaid orders may be canceled and the card relisted.
Consigned cards are securely stored and handled while in our possession. Cards are packaged appropriately when sold and prepared for shipment to the buyer.
